Valentines Day Red Velvet Cupcakes Ingredients

Adapted Recipe from Duncan Hines for Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Filling

Super easy to make and come out looking super fancy…winning combination

Ingredients:

Recipe makes around 24 cupcakes


Directions 

1. Preheat oven to 350°F

2. Combine Cupcake Ingredients in a large bowl : Using an electric mixer makes this recipe much easier

*Baking Tip: crack and whisk eggs before combining with the rest of the ingredients (This goes for almost everything)

3. In a separate bowl combine ingredients for cream-cheese chocolate chip filling

Add chocolate chips after cream-cheese, sugar, egg are combined

4. Line cupcake tin with baking cups

5. Fill baking cups about 3/4 of the way with cake batter (I use a tablespoon to transfer batter over usually around 3 heaping tablespoons per cup)

SONY DSC6. Add cream-cheese chocolate chip filling

I usually use a heaping teaspoon per cupcake, place right on top of cake batter (don’t worry the filling will sink to the middle while baking)

7. Bake for approximately 20 minuets

8. Remove and let cool

9. Frost and Enjoy!
