Today marks one year since my very first post on missaLAnnis.com, so happy 1st birthday/ anniversary! This first year of blogging has definitely been an ongoing learning experience. Some days I feel like it’s completely silly and narcissistic and ask myself what I’m doing, and other days I feel really good like I’m creating content I’m proud of and feel excited to share. The most important thing I can say today though is thank you, to everyone who has stopped by, read, followed, liked, shared, commented and supported this adventure.
I am so so greatful to all of you and I have a few major thank you’s I would really like to highlight
To my boyfriend Karl, from books, to podcast suggestions, to pulling over in the middle of nowhere when I request to take photos, I cant thank him enough for his unwavering support in this adventure of mine!
To my sister Diana who’s given me several pep-talks when my confidence in what I’m doing is wavering and for all of her helpful feedback. To my sister Maddyson who has helped with creative direction, styling, and even been an amazing sport (and natural) in front of the camera on shoots! Also to my parents and brother who follow my posts and give nothing but positive encouragement and feedback :).
To all of the photographers especially @jaredsphotos without all of you there would be no missaLAnnis.com! Thank you for all of your time and talent!
To the word press community especially a few particular bloggers who took notice of my blog early on and whose comments and support were and continue to be extremely helpful and encouraging, I feel connected to you all! Thank you to Samuel W. Thomas of Style Over Substances, Diana ZWang of Zhours, and Aroon Melane.
Goals for this year
In this next year there are changes and resolutions I have for missaLAnnis.com, my main goal is to be more personal, in addition to my outfit posts, I’m hoping to share a little more about me and my life. I know this might be challenging but I’m looking forward to it.
I’m also hoping to reorganize the way my site is set up and add things that have been on my to-do list for while, like restructure my categories and finally write my About Me section!
To my readers
You are the most important part in all of this! I would love to hear what you would like to see in this upcoming year! Your feedback is invaluable to me 🙂
Thanks again for stopping by!
Alanna,
This post was beautifully written. I¹m so proud of you. Keep it up.
