How To Find Your Better Butt Jean

LA Street Style Featuring the High Riser Skinny Skinny From Madewell Torn Knee Edition in Clayton

Hi Everyone!  Been a busy past two weeks…I realize I got a little off track with posting this month, but I’m hoping to get back to posting every week!

I’ts been an exciting month and I really want to share some highlights with you all of what I’ve been up to…

…going to MAGIC with my Dad!  MAGIC is a huge trade show that happens twice a year in Las Vegas.  There were a bunch of cool seminars, and I got to attend several panels where some major bloggers were being interviewed.  I got the chance to meet Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere  herself!  It was great to hear her interview, and get to chat with her for a minute, she is a total sweetheart and super down to earth!  A few other super cool bloggers that were speaking at the show included Ashley Guyatt of Polka Dots and Sailor Stripes, Nichole Ciotti of Vanilla Extract, and Linh Nguyen of Linh Winn.

…watching The Canary Movie on the big screen at The Chinese Theater!  My boyfriend wrote and directed an incredible short film this past year and it was chosen to be part of the Holly Shorts Film Festival here in Los Angeles!  It was amazing to get to see the movie with a live audience, on a massive screen, in such a historic theater!  It was also an extra special night because a bunch of the cast and crew attended, along with so many of our friends!  In the words of Drake…”I’m so, I’m so, I’m so proud of you”

…Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift…..You guysssss I feel so lucky I got to see Taylor Swift at the Staples Center!  My older sister surprised me and my little sister and we didn’t know till we got to our seats that we were sitting crazzzy close!  I instantly started crying like the tween girl I am inside…the show was beyond incredible!!!  She is an outstanding performer and is so so wonderful to her fans!  If I was a Taylor Swift fan before, I am a MEGAFAN now, she is a rock-star straight up.   Also having my lil sis in town for a long weekend was a blast!!

Made Well High Riser Skinny Skinny in Clayton,

Sooo onto this outfit post…because I blabbed so much already Ill try to keep this short and sweet.. Madewell is killing it in the high rise denim game right now.  If you are like me and sometimes your butt maybe gets lost in your jeans…these high risers are a fab butt jean.  The back pockets are pretty small and sit higher up, which is the key to helping jeans accentuate your assets… Whenever you are jean shopping if you are having an issue with disappearing butt, try to find a smaller back pocket that sits higher up rather than lower.  These High Riser Skinny Skinny Torn Knee Edition in Clayton from Madewell are a fantastic fit + wash and on sale now!!

As far as the rest of the outfit goes, you can’t go wrong with this LA Nights tank from Free People.  It comes in a bunch of colors and is an easy throw on and go top.  I especially love this tank because the bottom is loose and the neck and arms are cut in a way that gives an illusion of stronger arms…or at least that’s what I tell myself 😉
