Hello Beautiful!  Over Labor Day Weekend my sister Diana and I took a quick trip to Florida to visit our Grandparents!  One of our Grandmothers lives in South Beach so we got to soak up the Miami sun for a day and a half 🙂 !  I’ve created a quick trip guide below including where we stayed, ate, and shopped that I hope will be helpful if any of you are planning to make your way to Miami sometime soon!

Where we stayed:  Royal Palm South Beach You guysssss this hotel was so so awesome!  The service was exceptional and we ended up with the most beautiful room with a breathtaking view!  If you are going with a group I recommend staying in one of the suites, the floor to ceiling ocean views are out of this world!  The hotel has a total boutique vibe, but is part of the SPG group (Shearaton, Weston etc.) so if you have the SPG Amex,  or are part of the SPG membership rewards program, you can earn and use your points at the Royal Palm.

Where we ate:  Time was limited so I didn’t do as much eating as I could have in Miami 😉 but we made the two meals we had count!  I looove Cuban food so we made our way to Latin Cafe for drunch (lunch and dinner because we had so much left over) our first day.  The restaurant doesn’t look like anything special, but the food tastes authentically delicioso!  I had the Ropa Vieja and it was on fleek!  This place is very reasonably priced and per my grandmother the best time to go is around noon for lunch!

The following morning we had brunch right in our hotel and it was absolutely beautiful!  My photo with the waffles above is from Florida Cookery where we ate.  Everything we had was fresh and delicious, and the whole ambiance of the restaurant was lovely.  Eggs made to order are included in the buffet, as well as fresh juices (get the grapefruit!) and coffee/tea.  Heads up, I think the restaurant has two sections, you’ll want to go up the stairs before walking outside to get to the part where the buffet is.

Where we shopped:  Never have I ever seen a larger selection of designer shoes than we did at the Nieman Marcus at the Bal Harbour Shops !  Best part is…it doesn’t stop there… keep walking and you will find just about every designer shop you can think of!  Anddd… as if the shops weren’t pretty enough…the courtyard in the center has pools with Koi Fish of every color, trees, and a cute little alfresco(ish) bar/cafe.  The Bal Harbour shops are a beautiful place to walk around, especially if you catch a rainy afternoon like we did!

Where to grab a drink:  While we didn’t make it over in the evening, we took a nice walk down the beach in the morning to check out the Miami Beach Edition.  The Edition is one of the newer hotels on Collins Ave. and has a fantastically retro pool area!  A great place to stay or stop for a drink at night!

Outfit Details:

Jewelry:  All of the jewelry in the shots above are from the Marrin Costello Mixed Metal Collection coming out this Fall!  Featured looks include the Marnie Necklace (Gunmetal) and the Deanna Body Chain (Rose Gold).  I love how this collection contains a range of pieces, bold and delicate, allowing you to complete your look to compliment your style, even when you change it up!  All of the pieces can be worn in water making them a must pack for your Miami trip!

Swimwear: Badgley Mischka Dip Back Mio One-piece (as seen in Poolside Glamour post)

Let me know if you all have places you recommend to stay, shop, eat, or go out in Miami!  I would love to check them out next time i’m there!!
