Life, Camera, Action: What Goes On Behind The Pictures

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset Spoiler alert… I did NOT wake up like this…heres a sneak peak of the amazing support behind the scenes of this shoot!

For starters, I have hair wizard Melissa Hoyle of Spoke and Weal to thank for the brilliant blowout.  If you are in the LA area definitely pay her a visit and get your hair did.

Karl thanklessly played the role of photographer, and used the amazing camera he gifted me over the holidays.

As for the outfit… major thanks to Paige for letting me pick these pieces from their Spring 16 collection which I am absolutely obsessed with!  I love these jeans because they give the western vibe of a detailed belt without the extra bulk.  The fabric is the perfect combo of what looks and feels like classic cotton denim but has just the right amount of stretch, providing mobility and comfort.  The high rise is also a major plus!

On the topic of behind the scenes…. I’ve been thinking of starting a podcast about what goes on behind the scenes of creating a successful style blog!  The podcast would serve as a collection of stories, interviews and advice from those crushing it in the blogosphere right now.  I know a lot of you are also bloggers, and even if you’re not, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section – is something you would be interested in tuning in to?  Let me know! Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset
